Employment and Economic Empowerment

SETI vocational program has a component of employment and economic empowerment, enabling youth to access decent and stable job opportunities in the open market, or to establish family project in which the young man/woman with disability actively participates. SETI succeeded in securing such work opportunities for thousands of young men and women in schools, factories, workshops, restaurants, chain stores, hospitals, offices club...etc. In order to do this, SETI meets employers to discuss the rights of youth with disabilities to be included in the work place, to respond to their fears, correct wrong stereotypes as well as raises awareness of employers and work colleagues on how to have their workplace accessible and how to deal with persons with disabilities.
