Psychomotor Activities

Psychomotor activities target a person's cognitive, emotional, motor, and social capacities. They help to improve psychomotor skills and early development, especially in individuals with physical disorders such as cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities, intellectual disabilities like Down syndrome, attention deficit disorder (ADD), and emotional disorders like aggressiveness. These activities help individuals master their bodies through balance and movement, cope with the motor needs of the environment and daily life, and develop social skills for better interaction with peers and adults. They also improve attention and cognitive problem-solving abilities. This intervention is complementary to other programs such as skills development, occupational therapy, speech therapy, etc. Our team received training from psychomotor specialists in France and Lebanon.
